Post-Traumatic Headaches

Post-traumatic headache results from head injuries [21]. They feel like a migraine because the pain can elapse 6-12 months after a head injury. It is smart to always check with your doctor anytime you have a heavy hit or bump with your head. The symptoms of a post-traumatic headache may not necessarily surface immediately when a head injury occurs. They can surface months after [22], making it difficult to diagnose. As a rule of thumb, the head houses the brain and is a delicate organ. At all costs, you must avoid head injuries, complications arising from head injuries can lead to death or a loss of cognitive function of the brain.
