Hunger

When you don’t have enough food, you may not only hear a rumbling sound in your abdomen but also feel a severe headache. This is because your blood sugar starts to dip lower than usual and triggers pain feelings. This reaction leads to the production of hormones signaling the need to eat (hunger); however, these hormones may also cause a spike in blood pressure levels and tighten the blood vessels’ muscles; thereby, causing pain.
Hunger-related headaches are often very similar to tension headaches in symptoms, the patient may feel pressure across your forehead or sides of your head, a tension in your neck and shoulders, and dull pain. Hunger headaches often disappear within 30 minutes after eating. [14]
