High Blood Pressure Symptoms

Dizziness & Recurrent Headaches

Dizziness is a term used to describe a range of sensations, such as feeling faint, woozy, weak, or unsteady. Dizziness associated with high blood pressure that creates the false sense that the surroundings are spinning or moving is called vertigo.

Sudden dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, and trouble walking are all warning signs of HBP. Patients suffering from hypertension may notice dizziness and blood pressure fluctuations after drug use.

Headaches are fairly common among people with or without hypertension. Some people with hypertension notice changes or worsening of headaches when medications are skipped or when the blood pressure becomes higher than usual. Headaches associated with hypertension can be mild, moderate, severe, and can be throbbing.
