Cyanosis
To help all the requisite tasks and functions, the heart pumps oxygen-filled red blood cells all over your body. Sections of your body do not get the needed oxygen because PAH causes insufficient supply of oxygen to your RBCs (Red blood cells).
Low levels of oxygen can cause the appearance of bluish cast on the skin and lips. This disease is referred to as cyanosis [7].
Chest Pain and Irregularities in Heartbeat
The build-up of pressure in in the blood and thus the cause it to be more difficult for the muscles of the heart to work efficiently leading to muscle weakening. This leads to irregularities [8] in the frequency and synchronicity of the heartbeat. Ultimately, this can cause an irregular heartbeat or an increased heart rate.
Increased pressure in the circulatory system can lead to chest pain.
