Urinary Tract Infection
A urinary tract infection (UTI) may be the cause of often urination. A UTI occurs when there is an infection in the organs of your urinary tract. UTIs are common. In fact, about 60% of women tend to have a UTI at some point in their lifetime.
Apart from frequent urination, UTI may also result in symptoms such as:
- Burning with urination
- Blood in the urine, cloudy urine or a strong odor to the uri e
- Fever
- Lower belly pain
- Back pain
- Nausea or vomiting
- Having to pee urgently, sometime with very little urine
To treat UTI, your doctor will prescribe antibiotics and medications to help with pain and fever.
