Prostate Enlargement
Having an enlarged prostate can cause frequent urination, frequently during the night. The term benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is widely used to describe it. Men’s prostrate gland, which is located beneath the bladder, aids in the production of semen. As people age, this gland enlarges, and by the time they are 60 years old, half of those with prostate cancer have BPH.
It may become more difficult for you to completely empty your bladder as the prostate grows. This can trigger urinary frequency.
Fibroids
Uterine fibroids [15] can also make you pee more often. These are growths that can happen either inside or on the outside of the uterus. Fibroids are common. In fact, half of women [16] will develop fibroids by the age of 50.
Sometimes fibroids grow large. When this happens, the uterus can put pressure on the bladder and cause urinary frequency.
