Painful Urination
Feeling pain while you urinate is usually accepted as a sign of urinary tract infection, but only a few people think in the lines of kidney stones when such happens. While it is true that urinary tract infections come with painful urination, it could be an indication of a stone in the path to the bladder. At the junction between the ureter and bladder, the urine sets off painful signals, showing that the stone had migrated to lower regions. This condition is termed dysuria.
