Signs and Symptoms Of Kidney Failure

Weight Loss

Another symptom of kidney failure is weight loss. Kidney problems cause a person to lose appetite and interest in food. When a person doesn’t eat well, the body would lack the necessary nutrients to function, making the body slow and weak. All of this makes the body lose drastic weight, in a short period of time.

Uremia

This is a dangerous condition that happens when the kidneys fail and can no longer filter properly, causing an abnormal increase in the level of waste products present in the blood. Uremia is associated with nausea, a metallic taste in the mouth, fatigue and consistent mental confusion. A person with uremia has a very high chance of having kidney failure.

Lethargy

A person whose kidney is weak, is usually in a pathological state of constant sleepiness, lack of energy, weariness, inactivity and enthusiasm. This is known as lethargy. This causes sluggishness, both physically and mentally.
