Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath is having difficulty breathing. It is when a person experiences discomfort when breathing in and out. This condition gets worse over time. It can sometimes be associated with chest pain and loss of consciousness in extreme situations. When you have this trouble consistently, without prior exercise or activity, it can be a symptom of kidney failure.
Fatigue
This is when you’re always feeling tired, weak and exhausted. A healthy kidney produces a hormone that is known as erythropoietin or EPO. [2] This hormone is in charge of making sure that the body is making enough oxygen-carrying cells (red blood cells). When the kidney is failing, the production of the hormone, EPO is reduced. The reduction in red blood cells to transport oxygen to the muscles and other body organs causes the brain to tire easily. Another name for the condition is anemia. [3]
