Surgery

Certain ligaments that have been partially or totally ripped may require surgery to be repaired.
For instance, to help you restore strength and stability in your knee after an ACL tear, your doctor may advise ACL repair [8]. The injured ligament will be replaced with one from another area of your body or a donor.
The injured meniscus tissue may need to be removed during arthroscopic surgery, and the torn meniscus edges may need to be stitched back together.
Physical therapy
You may be able to recover from a knee injury in some circumstances by using only physical therapy after some recovery time. Nonetheless, it’s frequently advised after surgery to assist patients restore strength and movement.
