Sneezing

Sneezing is a common symptom of walking pneumonia [8] and many other respiratory infections. Walking pneumonia forces you to involuntarily expel air from your nose and this air may contain the pathogen responsible for your infection. This increases the likelihood that you will infect others around you.
Walking pneumonia is contagious. If you are sneezing, you should take extra steps to protect the people around you. You could try sneezing into your elbow, covering your face while you sneeze, or turning away from people when you sneeze.
Labored breathing
If you have walking pneumonia, your symptoms are likely to vary with the part of the respiratory tract that is infected. Infection in the upper respiratory tract is more likely to cause labored breathing [9] in many people.
