Early Disseminated Lyme
You will experience this months after a tick bite. At this stage, the infection has spread to other parts of the body.
Symptoms are usually flu-like. They include:
- Joint pain
- Eye problems caused by excess light, headache, and neck discomfort are all features of inflammation of brain membranes (Meningitis)
- Multiple rashes
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
- Swelling or discoloration may appear in certain areas of the skin
- Fever[1]
- Pain, numbness and weakness in your feet and hands.
- Heart block[2]
- Facial paralysis[3]
- Mood, memory loss, irregular sleep pattern, lack of concentration are normal features of a brain disorder called encephalopathy
