Ignoring Other People’s Opinions
Narcissists are known to be manipulative. They always use their interaction with other people to their own goals. If you have NPD, you will develop intense emotional relationships with family and friends and use the relationship to your own benefit and to boost your self-importance. Manipulative behaviors usually depend on certain factors, including:
- Pronounced mood swings [1]
- Fierce arguments
- A need to assign blame to other people
In extreme cases, a narcissist may get angry at other people if they sense a slight. For instance, if someone in your family falls sick, you may find yourself acting mean and indifferent towards the person.
