Causes of Pyrrole Disorder
The precise cause of pyroluria and pyrrole disorder is still unclear. However, scientists believe that it might be a hereditary condition that would happen alongside some developmental disorders and mental health issues. It is unknown whether the condition results in high pyrrole levels or high pyrrole levels cause the disorder. Although symptoms of pyrrole disorder are quite similar to those of bipolar disorder, they are two different conditions that would sometimes happen together. People with the following conditions tend to develop pyrrole disorder: ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, Down syndrome, Tourette syndrome, schizophrenia, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
