What sensation does a sensory aura give?

Sensory disturbances are a part of sensory auras. 36 percent of migraine auras have this kind of aura, on average. There may be a visual aura in addition to or instead of these sensory abnormalities.
A sensory aura’s primary signs include:
- numbness or tingling
- a “pins and needles” feeling
- One arm may start to tingle before moving up to one side of the face, lips, or tongue.
