Home Remedies for Abscess Tooth

Peppermint Tea

With good flavor and medicinal properties, peppermint has been used for hundreds of years. Except as an important ingredient of many modern products, such as teas, candies and toothpastes, peppermint has many health benefits: fight against bacteria, relief fatigue and increase energy, alleviate menstrual cramps, promote digestion, reduce nasal congestion, and refresh breath.

Peppermint has a full-bodied taste and smell, with therapeutic powers to provide relief for abscess tooth caused by tooth infection. It’s easy to make in home. At first mix dried peppermint leaves or stems in hot water; steep the leaves about 5 minutes; then leave to cool. Drink up to three times per day can reduce the pain significantly.

Being naturally caffeine-free and calorie-free, generally peppermint tea will not bring side effects; however, some people find that it can trigger or aggravate symptoms of people with GERD. If you’re allergic to peppermint or any chemicals in it, avoid drinking peppermint tea.
