Where Can You Get Cuts?

You may be more familiar with cuts around your face or lips. You can also have a cut injury inside your mouth, along the gums, or above the teeth. Most cuts on the gum are gotten from a fall, sports injury, or the putting of sharp objects in the mouth.

  • Improper or aggressive flossing
  • Use of strong toothbrushes
  • Use of objects like toothpicks
