Treat Clothes and Outdoor Equipment
An additional layer of defense is provided by the pesticide and repellent permethrin. This product is intended for use on outdoor gear and clothing, not on skin. The directions are listed on the product label. Clothing that has already been permethrin-treated is sold in several sports goods retailers. Bed nets should not be washed or exposed to sunlight as this degrades permethrin. Permethrin-treated clothing can provide protection for up to two weeks and two washings.
