Tooth Nerve Pain: Causes, Pain Relief, and Remedies

Vanilla and lemon extract

Vanilla and lemon extracts contain alcohol, which makes them excellent elements in numbing pain. It also contains antioxidant properties that make it effective for healing. Use cotton wool or a Qtip to apply some of it to the affected area. Do this a couple of times per day.

Also effective for healing, due to their anti-inflammatory properties are oils like tea tree oil, sesame oil, clove oil, oregano oil, sunflower oil, and nutmeg oil. Ginger root, turmeric, and plantain roots are also antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. They both help relieve pain. You can chew on them, making sure they’re staying in the affected area. You can also make them into powder form, and apply them directly to the affected area.

Fruits and vegetables are also excellent sources of nutrients that are very good in providing vitamin c, citric acid, potassium, and dietary fiber [7]. These nutrients aid the healing process and ensure that the tooth, gum, and mouth are generally healthy. Examples include lemon, oranges, broccoli, onion, cucumber, potatoes, and watermelon.
