Treatment of MS tingling

There are other symptoms of multiple sclerosis, in which some have been listed above. These other forms of signs can be treated easily. However, this tingling sensation is quite difficult to treat. There are some treatment options for MS tingling,such as:
- Antidepressant: this is the most significant form of treatment. It helps to reduce the effects of depression,numbness and excessive pain.
- Pain relief drugs: alongside antidepressants, the doctor also prescribes these drugs to reduce the MS tingling pain. Opioids are strong pain relief medications prescribed.
- In some cases, Topical creams,oral drugs and injections are also prescribed.
- For individuals that may have suffered mobility problems, balance and coordination problems. They are advised to undergo occupational or physical therapy.
- MS Medications: These drugs do not treat this tingling sensation directly, however, they help to slow the rate at which the disease progresses. These medications slow down the attack on the immune system. Some of these drugs are fingolimod,glatiramer acetate and many more.
