Symptoms

The signs of this neurological disorder are not always obvious until the dopamine level has become very low. It is also possible this chemical level in the brain has reduced long before the signs become obvious. Some of the early signs include:
- Rigid muscles
- Writing cramps

- Inability to smell
- Balance problems
- Restlessness
- Sleeping problems

The above symptoms result from the gradual development of this condition. When the level of this chemical drops and the illness becomes more serious, there are other symptoms that becomes noticeable, which are:
- Hallucinations
- Anxiety [6]
- Fatigue
- Chewing difficulty
- Memory problems
- Reduced blinking
- Depression [7]
- Walking without arm swinging
- Psychosis
- Swallowing problems
- Skin problems like flaky white or yellow scales on the skin.
