Relation of dopamine to Parkinson disease
Parkinson disease [3] results mostly when the level of dopamine drops in the brain. When the level of this chemical begins to reduce, the disease starts to show different signs and symptoms like tremors and stiffness of the limbs. Some of the foremost signs are not noticeable and occur years before the main movement problem occurs.
Dopamine is transported through dopaminergic pathways. There are two main pathways which are nigrostriatal and mesolimbic. If the two pathways stop interacting, the chemical is not able to move through the brain and then dopamine level begins to drop and cause this health condition.
