How to increase dopamine level

Dopamine is a vital chemical needed in the brain that enables proper body movement. Reduction or constant drop of this chemical in the body causes Parkinson disease. Therefore, below are some ways to increase dopamine:
- Supplements: the body most times needs minerals and vitamins to produce dopamine and some other nutrients like vitamin B6, niacin, and folate. Research has also shown that for dopamine to be produced effectively, supplements are required. Theses supplements include vitamin D, magnesium, green tea, cur cumin [8] and oregano extract.
- Diet changes: to raise dopamine level in the brain, you have to stop eating some foods and learn to eat the one that is more beneficial to the body. It is important to eat a lot of proteins like eggs, almonds, chicken and lots more, avoid foods containing saturated fats, fruits and vegetables.
- Lifestyle changes: there are some ways of life that should be changed when trying to increase the level of dopamine in the body. Make sure to exercise often, get enough of sleep, try to listen to your favorite music and mediate regularly.
- Medication: there are also certain drugs that boast dopamine in the body. These drugs include Ropinirole, pramipexole and levodopa. Levodopa is a precursor to dopamine which helps to produce this chemical.
