Eyes and the ENT Organs (ear, nose, pharynx, and larynx)

In patients with sarcoidosis of the eye [8], the following are noted: lesion of the eyelids, decreased vision, feeling of a foreign body, and non-intense pain in the eyes. On examination, granulomas are often found in the back of the cornea. Sometimes the disease affects the optic nerve, which can trigger the development of secondary glaucoma.
Sarcoidosis happened in ear, nose, pharynx, and larynx is rare. At the same time, the functions of the upper respiratory tract suffer from manifestations of rhinitis. Granulomas form on the lining or cartilage of the sinuses. I some cases, there is dry mouth [9] and nose bleed [10].
