Pain and insomnia

Due to chronic pain, which is defined as pain that lasts for at least three months, some people have problems falling asleep.
A 2019 evaluation [7] of nine researchers including almost 1,000 patients with chronic pain-related insomnia found that acupuncture was more effective at enhancing sleep quality than placebo or medication.
The authors of the review pointed out that earlier research had a poor quality or a small sample size.
