Skin condition & Pain tolerance

Your skin becomes thinner and less resilient as you get older. The amount of pressure the massage therapist can use on your skin without endangering it will be decided. Your skin could get irritated or broken if you apply too much pressure.
Due to diminished blood flow, a medical condition, or medicine, you may feel pain differently as you age.
If your pain threshold has grown or if you don’t experience discomfort until it’s quite strong, let your massage therapist know. This can prevent discomfort or injury.
