Conclusion

Chemotherapy is a very difficult treatment process used to treat different forms of cancers. During this process, healthy cells are also affected, making the treatment come with a lot of side effects. The most common side effects include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, development of sores in the mouth, and so on.
To reduce the severity of these side effects, patients must ensure that they stay away from all forms of physically draining activities and maintain a very healthy environment due to their weakened immune systems. They must also make sure that they eat the right amount of food, maintain a balanced diet, and stay hydrated at all times.
Patients who undergo this procedure must ensure that they do all they can to reduce the severity of these side effects.
