At 23 weeks of pregnancy, you are a little past the halfway period of your pregnancy. You begin to look pregnant, so people will start to make comments about how you glow and look great. How Big Is Your Baby and His Skin and Organs at 23 Weeks?

Your baby is at 11 inches long and just over a pound. At 23 weeks, you start to experience increase in weight. You baby’s weight grows exponentially over the next four weeks alone and you may feel like you do too.

Your baby’s skin may be a bit saggy because it grows a lot quicker than fat. After a while, he begins to fit his frame as fat deposits fill things out.

At the time of birth, your baby will be pleasantly pumped and filled out. The bay will have chubby cheeks and chubby toes. It is important to know that at week 23, your baby’s organ may be visible through his skin, but he will become less transparent as the number of fats increase.

At week 23, you may be able to listen to your baby’s heartbeat through a stethoscope [1]. Hearing the heartbeat can be very tricky, therefore, you need to seek help from a doctor.
