IUD Removal & Weight Loss

IUD, also known as an intrauterine device, is a T-shaped device that is usually inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. It is not completely proven that the hormonal or non-hormonal IUD can lead to weight loss. However, several anecdotal studies show that weight changes could be a side effect of the device.
