Hot Flashes

Hot flashes is when one feels a sudden sensation of heat in the upper body. It starts from the neck, chest, or face and then gradually circulates and progresses throughout the entire body. Hot flashes as a symptom of menopause is very common and happen to a large percentage of women. This particular symptom continues in women for the years they are passing through the menopause stage.
Hot flashes usually start in the first year after menstruation ends and can continue for more years. A hot flash can also result to excessive sweating and red patches on the skin. If you experience any of these, it could mean you are beginning to enter menopause.
