Tips for Clearing Baby Mucus

- Boiling the water at intervals will help clean the bulb
- The bulb syringe can also be cleaned by soaking it in warm, soapy water and letting it air dry.
- Don’t suction mucus too much. Still necessary for your baby’s wellbeing!
- Thin out mucus if it’s particularly thick. Before sucking, place two or three drops of saline solution into your infant’s mouth or nose.
- Don’t let kids use each other’s suction bulbs.
- Take a break if your kid is sobbing and really dislikes having their mucus suctioned. They can have sore throats or nasal passages that are sensitive or irritated.
