Milk Allergy and Lactose Intolerance

White curds in poop can also result from them reacting to a particular brand of milk or formula taken. Your child may be allergic to milk protein as it is ingested quickly and forms stool immediately after drinking the milk. Signs that your child may have milk allergy are upset stomach, diarrhea and stomach cramps.
White chunks in poop can be a result of lactose intolerance, i.e. the inability to break down a type of natural sugar commonly found in dairy products. If your baby has either of the following, you can check for lactose intolerance: stool with red flecks or bloody stool, abdominal pain, fussiness mostly after eating and gas.
You can change the milk formula or get a milk substitute like almond or coconut milk to make them feel better.
