Upper Back Twist and Levator Scapulae Stretch

This exercise is most soothing. If you find yourself suffering from upper back aches after sustaining whiplash. To perform it, first sit upright then turn your torso to the right, stopping when you feel your muscles pull. Repeat on the left side. Perform this exercise 12 times per side each day.
The levator scapulae [3] is the big knot in your upper back, stretching it would help if you have whiplash. To perform levator scapulae stretch sit on the correct sitting posture with keeping shoulders down while holding the bottom of the seat with one hand slightly turn your chin toward your armpit till feeling a comfortable stretch on the opposite side of the neck. Hold for 20 seconds then do it one more time for the opposite side. Perform 3 repetitions 2 times daily.
