Conclusion

There is currently no conclusive evidence that getting a tattoo leads to skin cancer. Although some compounds used in tattoo ink may be thought to be carcinogenic, there is currently no proof connecting these ingredients to any other cancers.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that the FDA does not approve or regulate tattoo pigments.
