The relationship between 5G and coronavirus
5G is also called the fifth generation. It is a type of wireless technology and mobile network. It was first launched in 2019. Several questions have been asked about the relationship between this network and some health conditions. For example, in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic started, people linked 5G to the pandemic.
Some false claims were raised, such as:
- 5G directly spreads SARS CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19
- 5G is a cover for the COVID-19 pandemic
- 5G reduces the potency of your immune system, increasing your risk of contracting SARS CoV-2
- COVID-19 first appeared in Wuhan, China, because it was the first city to use 5G
- 5G microchips were put in COVID-19 vaccines
It would help to know that these rumours are all fake. Viruses are transferred or spread via respiratory fluids. They cannot be transmitted through a mobile network. In addition, there is no evidence that EMFs and 5G make you more likely to have viral infections.
