What to do if you get bitten by a dog with rabies

If you suspect the dog that bit you or scratched you has rabies, you should immediately go see a doctor. Your doctor will administer a rabies vaccine along with antibodies. Humans don’t usually get rabies vaccines unless they’ve been exposed to the virus, this is with the exception of veterinarians or other professionals who handle dogs.
Symptoms of a rabies infection
