Help prevent cardiovascular disease

Cardiovascular diseases like stroke and heart diseases are some of the main causes of death in the world. Some of the major risk factors for these diseases may be improved with green tea. Green tea may also reduce complete and LDL (bad) cholesterol [7] as well as make sure the LDL particles are protected from oxidation. Studies show that people who drink green tea regularly have a lesser risk of cardiovascular disease.
May lower the risk of certain cancers
Cancer is one of the deadliest and damaging diseases in the world. When the cells in the body grow uncontrollably, this causes cancer. Chronic inflammation is caused by oxidative damage, which results in chronic diseases, including cancer. Antioxidants are a great way to protect against oxidative damage [8]. Green tea is a perfect source of very strong antioxidants. It is better to avoid putting milk in green tea, so as to get the most benefits out of it. As some studies imply that milk can lower the antioxidants level [9] in some teas.
