Help prevent type 2 diabetes

Studies have shown that type 2 diabetes is a condition that affects 1 in 10 Americans. There has been an increase in the cases of type 2 diabetes in recent years. When the blood sugar levels are elevated due to the bodies’ lack of capability to produce insulin, also known as insulin resistance [13], this causes type 2 diabetes. Green tea may help improve the ability to produce insulin and lower an elevated blood sugar level. One study found that Japanese individuals [14] who drank a lot of green tea had about 42% less chance of diabetes.
Conclusion
Green tea can increase the general well-being of the body and promote one’s health. It is advisable not to drink green tea on an empty stomach, so as to prevent nausea. However, taking one or more cups of green tea every day would perform a lot of wonders for your health. It is important to note that there are different types of green tea, with varying tastes and peculiar benefits. Therefore, it would be more beneficial to know the type and quality of green tea before drinking it.
