Dogs Offer Protection
Dogs unlike cats offer protection when kept in the house. Dogs will guard against burglars, thieves, and strangers. They have a sense of knowing if a particular person is harmful or not and to alert their owner of any situation.
Unlike cats that are timid and tend to run away if the presence of a stranger is felt. Dogs are not like that, even the smallest dogs have it in its nature to bark either to alert its owner or at the burglar to make them go away. Dogs are also sensitive and intelligent enough to wake up its owner in the case of a fire or any danger, this is something a cat won’t do.
