Erotic Asphyxiation
Erotic Asphyxiation occurs when a person cuts off their partner’s oxygen supply for sexual arousal. It is also referred to as “breath play” or sexual asphyxia.
The other person’s chest may be squeezed, choked, or suffocated in this type of asphyxiation.
Erotic Asphyxiation can bedangerous. The person performing the act might not realize how severe the oxygen deprivation is. In some situations, the individual suffering from asphyxia might not be able to express that they are having trouble breathing.
The brain might not get enough oxygen if erotic asphyxiation persists. It can result in severe complications like brain damage or death.
