Changes in heart rate

Your heart rate [6] refers to how many times your heart beats in one minute. It can be influenced by your iodine levels. In the presence of low iodine levels, your heart rate may reduce causing your heart to beat slower. Excess iodine levels increase your heart rate. Iodine deficiency may result in an abnormally slow heart rate. This would make you feel weak, dizzy, and in some cases, cause you to faint.
