What Are Himalayan Salt Lamps Made of?
The process of production of Himalayan salt lamps is not difficult. They are made by placing a bulb into a transparent bowl or lamp containing a significant amount of Himalayan salt. This combination leads to the production of a pink and warm light that is said to have a lot of health benefits although it is not scientifically proven.
The Himalayan salt is obtained from a salt mine in Pakistan and is said to have existed for millions of years. In composition, it is similar to the regular cooking salt but it is said to have some compounds that give it the pink color.
