Spiders do not prey on humans, instead they prey in insects. However, just like any other animal they may attack if they feel threatened, if you don’t realize that you have scared them.
Recognizing whether you were bitten by a venomous spider, is the first step to treating a bite. If you are not sure of the type of spider, you might as well contact your doctor.
For a mild bite there are many OTC and natural treatments that may help ease the situation. For a dangerous spider bite, call your doctor immediately.
