Salmonella

Salmonella is a common term. It exists in over 2,000 varieties. Studies show that it is mostly linked with animal products such as eggs, chicken, and milk. However, other foods like raw vegetables and water can transmit salmonella. It is mostly introduced to foods at a processing plant before the foods are packaged. There are many symptoms of salmonellosis. They usually range from a mild gastroenteritis (intestinal and stomach inflammation) to more severe and prolonged diarrhea. According to experts, it is a common diagnosis of infectious diarrhea in the United States of America.
According to studies, outbreak of hepatitis A can be traced back to bad food safety during food handling. In most cases, hepatitis A infections may lead to nausea, jaundice, and malaise. The more severe conditions always occur in older people.
