Lavender Tea – Benefits, Uses, and How to Make It

How to Make Lavender Tea

Lavender tea has a lot of health benefits, which make it recommended to be taken as frequent as possible. For this, it would help if you knew how to make it yourself. Lavender tea can be made using tea bags or loose flowers. The flower buds can be fresh from your garden or dried for added shelf life.

Although loose tea blends are preferable to tea bags. Loose tea offers fresher flavor and tends to contain better quality flowers and buds than tea bag varieties.

When it comes to brewing lavender tea using flowers from your garden, there are a few things to take note of. Firstly, it’s best to cultivate them using organic methods to avoid contamination with chemical and harsh fertilizers. This is because these chemicals can find their way into your tea and cause harm to your health.

It is also best and advised that you grow lavender flowers away from main roads and other potential environmental contaminants.
