Mild Side Effects and Serious Side Effects
Here is a list of some of the mild side effects that Rydapt can cause:
- Nausea [3]
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea [4]
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- Bruising
- Stomach pain
- Nose bleed
- Edema [5]
- Mucositis [6]
- Constipation [7]
- Fatigue
- High blood sugar level
- Feeling short of breath
- Upper respiratory tract infection such as common cold.
Your doctor will tell you if there are other mild side effects to look out for. Mild side effects of most drugs go away within a few days or a couple of weeks. But if they persist, talk with your doctor or pharmacist.
There are more serious side effects that can occur from Rydapt but they aren’t common. If you have serious side effects, call your doctor immediately. But if you think you are having a medical emergency, you should call 911 or your local emergency number.
Some common serious side effects of Rydapt include:
- Lung issues that may be life threatening
- Low level of certain white blood cells accompanied with fever
- Serious infections, including those of implanted medical devices such as cochlear implants [8].
- Severe allergic reaction
