Asides from allergy to Eylea, other conditions to consider before using the drug include:

  • Any type of bacterial, fungal, or viral infection in or around your eyes.

Let your doctor know if you have ever had any of these conditions:

  • Glaucoma or other diseases that elevate pressure inside your eyes.

It is important to let your doctor know if you are pregnant or whether you plan to get pregnant when taking Eylea. Your doctor will recommend efficient birth control methods to help you prevent pregnancy. You can continue using your birth control for three months after your last injection.
