What Is Imbruvica?

Imbruvica is used to treat a particular type of blood cancer. It is prescribed by doctors for adults who have been diagnosed with a blood cancer, such as lymphoma and leukemia. Doctors also prescribe Imbruvica to treat a disorder in adults known as chronic (long-lasting) graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). The drug contains an active component known as ibrutinib. It is not available as a generic. It comes in capsules and tablets that you can swallow.
