This medication has several side effects but many people have little to no side effects. Visit your doctor if you have signs of an allergic reaction to propranolol. Allergic reactions may include: hives, swelling in your face or throat, and difficulty in breathing).   • Cold fingers or toes
  • Skin rash

  • Shortness of breath
