Semglee medication is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes [1] mellitus and in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus [2].
Semglee is not a treatment and not recommended for people with diabetic ketoacidosis.
The dose of Semglee will be different for different people. It is important that you follow your doctor’s instructions on the use of the drug if prescribed for you. The following information includes only the average doses of this medicine. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are using the medicine.
